I’m on a bit of a Tedeschi Trucks Band kick lately. They’ve got a new album out – Let Me Get By – and I just saw them at the Sunshine Music Festival in Boca Raton, FL. “Midnight In Harlem” has risen to the top as my new favorite TTB song. This is a great version from 2011 that TTB posted on YouTube. It’s a big, big band, and I’m always impressed by how well they play together, creating a big sound without tripping over one another. And watch Derek Trucks’ guitar work here. His playing is incredibly moving. One of the greatest guitar players out there today.
